What a hidden treasure! This was my first visit to The Farm and it was just so peaceful & serene. Mornings spent meditating & communing with nature. Afternoons enjoying the company of my fellow coaches. And the sunsets are just beautiful to behold!! I would recommend The Farm to anyone looking for a nature setting for a retreat or conference.

  2. I’ve been to Brinson’s Race several times now, and each time was time well and peacefully spent. Getting away from city life – and WiFi – is a welcome relief. Mornings? Beautiful! Sunsets? Spectacular! The day in between? Relaxing, creative and healing. There’s something about this place that invites you to just be…soak up life and just be. I look forward to my next visit!

  3. You created a breath taking website.

How was the pecan crop this year? My Senoia trees have outdone themselves–an incredible and tasty treat from Georgia and our ancestors. Merry Christmas, and a very happy new year!

  5. Wow, ladies – thank you so much for your gorgeous comments. Brinson’s Race is ready to welcome you back, any time!

Brinson’s Race is a vortex of peace, beauty and creativity. Being there soothes my soul.
I love wandering the grounds, hiking through the woods, curling up in a soft corner to read, remembering the beauty of stars unfettered by city lights and breathing the country air.
Being there, I somehow shed my creative barriers; my mind is so open to ideas and an “I can do it!” feeling.
Thanks, Laura, for inviting me to share in this magical place. I look forward to many more hours there.

Before going to Brinson’s Race I hadn’t drawn a picture in many years, but when I was there the beauty and the soul of the farm inspired me to put pencil to paper and draw what I saw and felt. Thank you, Laura, for giving that to me.

  8. As soon as we stepped onto the property, time stood still and the awe and wonder of nature took over. There is a stillness at Brinson’s Race – the hectic world is left behind, the sunsets are breath taking and the art plastered over every inch of wall inspires one to take out the brush and start painting. The property is beautiful but the house and retreat center are so comfortable that I had to keep reminding myself we were out in the country.

Laura is a gracious, talented, fun and warm hostess. Plus she has a family history that stretches back generations and her stories about her family will keep you riveted. I know you will love your time at the farm as much as we did. Thank you so much Laura for sharing your precious jewel with us.

Visiting Brinson’s Race brings back happy memories of spending time at my grandparent’s farm when I was growing up. Sitting in the garden, walking along the dirt roads, and watching the gorgeous sunsets provide a wonderful respite from my busy, day-to-day life. And, there is nothing like star gazing on clear nights – the sky absolutely dazzles with thousands of tiny points of light. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

  10. Brinson’s Race is a respite from the fast-paced, hectic world I spend most of my time living in. I remember the first time driving up the driveway, feeling a relaxing calm come over me. The place is amazing! Quiet, peaceful, full of history and engaging artwork. Open, spacious, serene — exactly what I need to refuel, recharge and re-engage my creative spirit.

The morning light there makes me want to be a “morning person,” and the open, spacious stillness is so healing. I am always impressed by the sunsets, what a show!

Thank you, Laura, for sharing your family’s gem. I always love going to the farm!
